Actor Diljit Dosanjh has shared the first look at his character from an upcoming Punjabi film he will be a part of. The yet untitled film will be based on World War I and he will play a soldier in it.

Diljit also shared a vague release date for the film. “Film Based on #Worldwar1...Releasing Early 2018,” he wrote in a tweet.

In the photo, Diljit is dressed in a soldier’s uniform, fastened with leather belts. His face and uniform are splattered with blood and dirt as looks ahead with a stern expression on his face. Is it weird how much he looks like Ranbir Kapoor from this angle?

A few days ago, he posted more pictures from the film sets. “Its a moment of Honor to be standing next to living Legend Yograj Singh Ji...#Worldwar1,” he wrote in one of the tweets.

His fans were impressed with the new look and showered the actor with several praises. “The much awaited and very promising look...all the best Bhaji,” a fan wrote. “Wow 2018 starting will b rocking with ur movie WW1..all the bst.Eagrly waiting paji,” wrote another.

Diljit is also working on another film by Shaad Ali, co-starring Taapsee Pannu and Angad Bedi.
