Hospitalisation much lower during third Covid-19 wave, finds Study

ICICI Bank's net profit rises 25 per cent to 6,194 crore

  • Net interest income increased by 23 per cent year-on-year to 12,236 crore ($1.6 billion) in October-December 2021 quarter from 9,912 crore ($1.3 billion) in the corresponding period of previous year.
ICICI Bank's net interest margin stood at 3.96 per cent in Q3 of 2021-22 compared to 3.67 per cent in Q3 of 2020-21 and 4.00 per cent in the quarter ended September 30, 2021.

Schools in Pune district to remain shut till next week: Ajit Pawar

Currently, Pune’s weekly positivity rate stands at 40%. Pune district on Friday reported 16,459 cases which was higher than the peak of the second wave which reported 12,385 cases on April 17 in 2021

Three children injured in crude bomb explosion in Bengal’s Berhampore

Villagers said that the three boys were playing cricket in a field. One of them had hit the cricket ball which landed in an adjacent farmland full of sunflower plants. All three went to look for the ball and found a ball-like object lying in the farm. When they picked it up assuming it to be a ball and threw it, the explosion took place.
