Jamia campus turns film set, students irked

Jamia Millia Islamia students are unhappy that the campus is being reported rented out for film, web series shoots while students are still struggling with the challenges of online learning. The campus has been closed for a majority of students since the first Covid-19 lockdown in Delhi, and is expected to reopen in a phased manner from November.

Kerala logs 8,867 new Covid-19 cases with TPR of 11.14%

State Health Minister Veena George said at least 25% of the newly-infected had not taken the vaccine. At least 93.7% of the eligible population got one vaccine and 44.9% got both shots, she said adding the vaccination rate of the state is one of the best in the country.
