Is Mick Jagger set for a third wedding?

Rumour mills are agog that the Rolling Stone singer might tie the knot for the third time.

It seems that Sir Mick Jagger is considering the prospects of tying the knot for the third time. The Rolling Stone singer seems to be totally disciplined in the arms of current girlfriend L'Wren Scott, who he has been dating for five years.

And rumours that the couple might be planning to exchange vows fuelled after Scott showed off a glittering ring on her engagement finger.

In recent weeks the couple has spent many hours and millions of pounds crafting a new interior for a £6 million house they bought last summer in London.

Yet Scott has never up till now shown off such a stunning oversized gem on her engagement finger.

A friend of the singer hinted that since Sir Mick is so hush-hush about his personal life that the public and even his managers would get to know about the wedding after it has happened.

"Mick's really not the sort to have some kind of engagement," the friend added. "If they were going to get married, they would probably just do it. Yet it is interesting that L'Wren has on this occasion - a very public event in New York - decided to wear a ring on her engagement finger so obviously,” the Daily mail quoted the friend, as saying.

However, the spokesman for Sir Mick maintained that the couple have no plans to marry.

Sir Mick has been married twice before to Nicaraguan-born model Bianca Perez Morena de Macias in 1971 and Texan model Jerry Hall in 1990.
