Step Inside
Serene and Stunning 4,000 sq ft Noida Home

When the lawyer-banker couple laughed and said, “My boys are so naughty,” it wasn’t a complaint — it was a design brief. The family wanted a home that could handle everyday chaos without losing its sense of beauty, warmth, or order. It needed to feel inviting and layered, yet remain practical enough to endure the wear and tear of daily life.

That vision shaped the renovation of this 4,000 sq ft residence in Noida. The brief was clear: create a space that feels rich and warm but is inherently functional — one that doesn’t rely on excessive décor, delicate styling, or constant maintenance to look good.

Bravura Design Solutions and founder and lead designer, Amita Trehan responded with Whispering Walls, a home that balances character and calm, designing interiors that are durable, thoughtfully detailed, and effortlessly liveable.

Who lives here?

A lawyer, a banker and their kids walk into a home

Home to a young professional couple — a lawyer and a banker — and their two energetic sons, the residence had to reflect both sophistication and real-life functionality. The couple loves to entertain, but they were equally clear that their home should feel effortless rather than overly styled.

Their brief struck a careful balance: create an elegant space that can host with ease, yet remains relaxed and resilient enough for children to play freely. A home where aesthetics and everyday comfort coexist seamlessly, without precious finishes or high-maintenance design getting in the way of family life.

What are the walls whispering?

Design brief, specifications and budget

Hoisted on the 22nd floor of a township in Sector 107, the space was large, as was the scope of the project. This is a spacious 3BHK home with an additional study/home office. Each bedroom opens out to its own balcony, and the layout also includes a large kitchen, two staff rooms, and a dedicated utility area. The overall configuration was refined during the renovation to better suit the family’s lifestyle while maintaining the original spatial strengths.

The overall renovation budget was approximately Rs 70 lakh, with major investments directed towards structural modifications, bespoke carpentry, and upgrading key functional areas such as the kitchen and storage spaces.

This was a full gut renovation. While the original Italian marble flooring provided by the builder was retained, the layout underwent structural changes. The kitchen was extended, and a portion of the staff room was reworked to create a walk-in closet. The renovation involved significant civil work, custom carpentry, and spatial reconfiguration to enhance functionality.

Living Room

The living room is washed with warm and serene tones of beige, charcoal and pops of luxurious gold. The main wall features three arches with framed panelling. Twin couches in off white mark the living area with another sets of complimentary (not matching), luxe single seater sofas. One is in black and white stripes upholstery while the other looks chic with black line drawing over white fabric.

The inset coffee table feature white and black marble and granite tops with golden legs. Marble and gold side tables also provide added oomph to the otherwise simple couches.

Bedroom 1

The first bedroom plays with elements of rattan and pastel colours. A large bed with upholstered backrest forms the focal point of the room. It is flanked by rattan sidetables with marble tops.

The wall behind the bed hosts a gorgeous, tropical but luxe wallpaper with motifs of palm trees, marble pillars and a serene lake.

The carpet is similarly lush with images of roses and wild animals.

Bedroom 2

The second bedroom follows the same style guide but with a different take. The king bed comes with silver, upholstered back and blush pink side tables. A rose-blush pink shelf takes the spotlight for its striking shape.

In this room too, the wallpaper catches your eye for the complimentary tone-on-tone aesthetic. A whimsical, charming lamp adds the perfect finishing touch.

Kitchen

The backplash is the star of the kitchen. With thick copper grains, the marble looks like Renaissance era artwork on its own. It is greatly complemented by the green hues of the cabinetry and copper hardware. A pristine cooktop sits in the centre, masked by black granite countertop.

In the end, this Noida home proves that elegance doesn’t have to be fragile. By blending warmth with restraint and durability with design finesse, Bravura Design Solutions has crafted a space that feels as good on a busy weekday as it does during a lively weekend gathering. It’s a home that embraces muddy footprints, impromptu play, and full dinner tables — all while looking effortlessly composed. Because sometimes, the most beautiful homes are the ones truly lived in.

"Each surface serves both an aesthetic and functional purpose. Rounded edges, upholstered forms, and neutral fabrics ensure comfort, while the detailing—be it fluting, inlay, or subtle metal accents—adds quiet sophistication. True to the ethos of my practise this home is not only meant for social media moments but also to function at its optimum in daily life chaos," says Amita Trehan.
