Olive launches its equivalent of the iPad

Olive Telecom launch the new OlivePad VT100, India’s first 3.5 G Pad.

Olive Telecom on Thursday announced the launch of OlivePad VT100, India’s first 3.5 G Pad.

The OlivePad operates on an Android Operating System and supports 3.5 G HSUPA, Wi-fi and Bluetooth. With an inbuilt three megapixel camera and a secondary front camera, the Olive Pad can be used as a touch notebook that allows browsing, multimedia, instant messaging, easy access to the social networking sites, and GPS for maps.

The device can also be used as a gaming console, an e-book reader, a television and is also a smart phone allowing voice and video calling.
