In a traditional move, Apple took down its online store ahead of its Wednesday event that may see the unveiling of new iPhones and other announcements the company has tried hard to keep under the wraps.
Apple takes down its online store pages and replaces them with a 'We'll be back' banner every year before its unveiling events. The pages are updated with the product announcements shortly after the event closes.
Apple's decision to stage the event in a venue with a capacity to hold 7,000 people has prompted some to suspect that a surprise is in store. Here is how you can follow the much-anticipated event live:
Apple will live-stream the event for iPhone, iPad and Mac users. Also, for the first time ever, Apple will let Microsoft Windows 10 users watch the stream. The users can watch the event on Microsoft's Edge browser by going to this link.
The event can also be viewed on second and third generation Apple TV devices that run software version 6.2 or later.
iPhones, iPads and iPod Touch devices running iOS 7 or later can be used to watch the event on the Safari web browser. Mac and MacBook users on OS X 10.8.5 or later can tune, too.
Hindustan Times will track the event live starting10.30pm IST. For updates on the event, photos, analyses and videos, follow our special coverage.
