Google is offering discounts of up to 80% on apps, games, movies and ebooks on the Play Store. Android users can download apps they have been evading due to their high price tag or premium subscription rates at a much lower price. These deals are being offered as part of the annual Summer Sales and will be valid on all purchases made in the next four to five days.
Runtastic: Running & Fitness Tracker
Free (discount on subscription)
Runtatsic is offering discount of up to 66% on the annual subscription plan. Users can enjoy all its features such as free training plans, freedom from ads, voice coach, and access to advanced statistics on their activities for a yearly payment of Rs 2,500, down from Rs 7,440 per year. It is compatible with smartwatches running Android wear and can sync its data on the app. Developed by Austrian developer Runtastic, the app has been downloaded over 10 million times on the Play Store alone.

Popular brain training app NeuroNation is offering a discount of 50% on its monthly subscription. Users now have to pay Rs 51.66 per month for the one-year plan which earlier cost Rs 103 every month. Designed with the help of professional neuroscientists, the app offers short puzzle-based exercises which can improve your memory, attention span and decision-making abilities. Developed by Berlin-based developers, the NeuroNation has been downloaded 5 million times.
Rs 140 (earlier Rs 270)
Sequel to the BAFTA winning Room and Room 2, this new puzzle game is available at almost half the price for the next five days. Developed by UK-based game studio Fireproof games, Room 3 offers longer and more challenging missions. It puts players into different scenarios where they have to discover hidden items and put them together to solve the puzzle and move to the next level. For a puzzle game, it has pretty impressive graphics.
Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies

Fans of first-person shooter games can now get the mobile edition of Call of Duty: Black Ops Zombies at a discount of 80%. Developed by Activision Studios, the game offers over 50 unique missions in the single player mode and has a multiplayer mode where users can team up with up to four online players and hunt down zombies. Visuals don’t look as rich as the console version, but the gameplay and controls are as challenging as the original.

Fans of Star Wars games have something to rejoice. The mobile version of action adventure game Star Wars Knights of the Old Republic is now available at just Rs 190. The game has a similar storyline, offers characters from original Star Wars movies and looks as good as the console variant. It is the reason why it takes up over 2GB of space after installation. The game was developed by Texas-based game studio Aspyr Media.
Need for Speed: Most Wanted

The mobile edition of EA Sports’s Need for Speed Most Wanted is available for just Rs 80. It is a big game with console-level graphics and takes up over 2GB of space after installation. The game is very different from arcade racing games such as Asphalt Racing and Real Racing. Its race events are more challenging and require players to smash rival cars, while dodging police cars throughout the race.
