Android users will be able to save areas on their Google Maps for access when offline. As a bonus, they will also be able to save it onto an SD card.
To use Google Maps offline, all you have to do is save the particular area you need. Then, switching to the “wifi only” option on Google Maps will let you access the service offline.
If users need to see what the traffic is like or update their offline maps, they can easily switch back to online mode by changing their setting or finding the nearest wifi.
