HMD Global partners Airtel to offer Nokia smartphones with Rs 2,000 cashback

Nokia 3 and Nokia 2 are now available at effective prices of Rs 7,499 and Rs 4,999 respectively.

Nokia 2 and Nokia 3 are HMD Global’s budget smartphones(Nokia)

Airtel has a new partnering smartphone brand for its ongoing initiative “Mera Pehla Smartphone”. Under this initiative, Airtel offers 4G smartphones at affordable rates with different subscription plans.

Nokia’s budget smartphones, Nokia 3 and Nokia 2 will be now available with a cashback offer of Rs 2,000 from Airtel. Bundled with this offer, the effective price of Nokia 3 and Nokia 2 will be Rs 7,499 and Rs 4,999 respectively.

“Nokia devices has a solid brand resonance among customers and we believe that the partnership offers a great proposition to customers looking for quality devices at great prices,” Ajai Puri, Chief Operating Officer (India and South Asia), Bharti Airtel, said in a statement.

How it works

Both the devices would come bundled with a special Airtel recharge pack of Rs 169 offering 1GB 4G data per day and unlimited local and STD calling.

The cashback benefit would be given to customers in two instalments over 36 months.

Airtel’s cashback offer is applicable on Nokia 2 and Nokia 3 (Airtel)

To avail the cashback, a customer needs to recharge their Airtel number worth Rs 3,500 within 18 months. This will make the user eligible for the first cashback instalment of Rs 500.

After this, the user will need to recharge for Rs 3,500 for the next18 months and avail the second cashback of Rs 1,500.
