Lenovo launches a Turbo variant of the Vibe P1

After launching the Vibe P1, Lenovo has now announced a Turbo variant of the smartphone.

The device retains more or less the same specifics as the original Vibe P1, apart from an overhauled 16-megapixel rear camera. The smartphone for now has been launched in the Indonesian market, with no word regarding its availability in the Indian market.

The Vibe P1 Turbo comes with a 5.5-inch Full HD display, a 1.5Ghz octa-core processor bundled with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage further expandable via microSD slot.

As already mentioned, the smartphone gets a beefed up 16-megapixel rear camera along with a 5-megapixel selfie cam. The smartphone runs Android 5.1 Lollipop out-of-the-box with company's proprietory vibe UI skin on top. The device packs a 4,900 mAh battery and will be available in Platinum and Graphite Grey colour options.

In other related news, Lenovo has also confirmed that its recently launched K4 Note will now be available without registrations starting February 15. The company has also announced a white colour variant of the phone which also goes on sale on February 15. Lenovo claims to have sold 180,000 units of the K4 Note since its launch.
