LG on Wednesday launched its latest smartphone, V30+, in India. The smartphone is priced at Rs 44,990 and will be available for purchase starting December 18.

LG V30+ was unveiled at the IFA Berling expo in August this year along with V30. The main difference between the two phones is that V30+ is the higher inbuilt storage — V30+ has 128GB whereas V30 has 64GB.

LG V30+: Specifications, features

LG V30+ is one of the smartphones from the company to offer a ‘FullVision’ display with an OLED panel. The smartphone comes with a 6-inch 18:9 display with quad HD+ resolution of 2880x1440 pixels at a massive 538ppi pixel density.

Running on Android 7.1.2 Nougat, V30+ is powered by Qualcomm’s top-end Snapdragon 835 processor with 4GB RAM. In the camera department, the phone offers a dual-camera setup that consists of 16-megapixel sensor with f/1.6 aperture and 13-megapixel sensor with f/1.9 aperture. For selfies, LG V30+ sports a 5-megapixel wide-angle camera.

LG V30+ Vs OnePlus 5T

LG V30+ will be competing with a range of premium Android smartphones, including the popular OnePlus 5T.

OnePlus’s latest flagship smartphone is available in two variants — Rs 32,999 (6GB+64GB variant) and Rs 37,999 (8GB+128GB variant).

OnePlus 5T also offers an 18:9 edge-to-edge display. It has 6.01-inch screen, but with 1080 x 2160 pixels resolution. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 835 processor and sports 16-megapixel and 20-megapixel camera sensors on the back and a 16-megapixel sensor on the front. OnePlus 5T is also powered by a 3300mAh battery.
