PUBG Mobile gets a big update: Here are the top new features

Tencent Games has released a new version of its popular mobile game, PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds (PUBG). PUBG v0.7.0 is available for free to download for Android and iOS users. PUBG’s servers were down for a few hours following the release of the update by the company.
The latest version of PUBG can be downloaded from Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store. For newbies, the game requires a smartphone running Android 5.1.1 and above and at least 2GB of RAM. iPhones running iOS 9 or above are compatible with PUBG.
The company has released the full patch notes of PUBG 070 detailing everything new arriving on the game. To begin with, gamers will get a newer and faster-paced variation of ‘Arcade’ mode. New weapons added include the SLR Sniper Rifle. Weapon use has been updated with light foregrip, half foregrip, and thumb foregrip which will help reduce recoil. Vertical and angled foregrip has also been adjusted.
PUBG 070 gets new entertaining and challenging long-term objectives, titles that players can display by their name. The new version allows creation and joining of clans, and players can also check regional rankings. More interactive features for players include a team channel to find teams, and a community system to find topics by tags. Players can also give likes to other players after a match. These likes will be displayed on the player’s profile.
The UI of the game has new updates like different poses for characters and idling animation for female characters. The main UI has been redesigned which will help players enter different modes faster. The shop UI has also been simplified.
Some of the new improvements available on the game include the option to mark messages read, new ways to share, and addition of weapon information to spectator mode. Players can find the detailed patch notes here.
