Reliance Jio’s free plans have come to end and here is a comprehensive guide as to what plans you can opt for now.

Reliance Jio’s free services have finally came to end on April 15 meaning there will be no free voice calls or free data or SMSs without choosing a paid plan.

However, some SIM cards are still working but the company has stated that any SIM which has not been recharged with a plan or prime membership plan will be disconnected.

So what happens now or what are the plans available henceforth? Here is a guide to help you understand the Jio Plans maze:

1) No chance of free services

If you are still thinking that there is a way to get free services, then No is the answer. Reliance Jio will charge you for whatever you want to use. The company has killed its Summer Surprise offer and introduced a new plan called Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan.

2) What happens to subscribers with Jio Summer Surprise offer?

If you have already subscribed to the Jio Summer Surprise before April 11, then you will get the free services of 3 months as assured by Jio. There is no way to subscribe for the Summer Surprise offer now.

3) What if you have recharged with Rs 149?

Users who taken plan of Rs 149 or below will be later offered given back as voucher. Jio has not specified the exact time of when will this voucher be given.

4) What if you didn’t opt for a plan?

You will have to choose from the two offers that come under Jio Dhan Dhana Dhan: one is for Prime users and the other for non-Prime members.

The picture shows the offers under Jio’s new Dhan Dhana Dhan scheme.

If you are a Prime user then you have an option to choose between 1GB 4G data per day and 2GB 4G data per day. For 1GB data you have to pay Rs 309 while for 2GB it is Rs 509. Unlimited calls, SMSes and other Jio services are also included in the plans. The plan validity last for 84 days and this is only for one-time recharge as for subsequent recharges you get less data and less number of validity days.

Non-Prime members too have an option to choose between 1GB and 2GB data plan. For 1GB 4G data per day, you pay Rs 408 while for 2GB it is Rs 608. Free unlimited voice calls, SMSes and Jio bouquet of services are included in the plan and validity is for 84 days.
