Reliance's smart feature phone, JioPhone, is now available on Amazon India. The phone is available for 1,500, a refundable security deposit for three years.

Reliance JioPhone is also eligible for Amazon's Prime delivery and cash on delivery. After you have received the phone on your provided address, you need to visit the "nearest Jio Store/Reliance Digital outlet with device, packaging box and Aadhar number" for the final verification.

JioPhone users can also enjoy free voice calls and unlimited data (1GB at high speed) for 28 days at a price of only 49, Amazon said in a statement.

Amazon India is the second non-Jio platform to offer the smart feature phone. Last week Mobikwik also announced the availability of the phone on its platform.

Reliance announced the launch of 4G and VoLTE-enabled JioPhone on July 21 last year. Aimed at over 50 crore feature phone users, the 2.4 inch device has 2MP rear camera and runs on 2000mAh battery. The JioPhone has a single Nano-SIM slot and a microSD card slot.

JioPhone supports 22 Indian languages and has its own Voice Assistant -- HelloJio. Google late last month rolled out its Google Assistant for the smart feature phone. Earlier this week Google revealed that the rollout helped Google Assistant usage in India increase by six times.

Reliance's JioPhone is also the top selling feature phone in the country, according to recent Counterpoint and CMR reports.

"JioPhone was major growth driver for the 4Q 2017. Its shipments grew more than five-fold. This new trend led to surge in market share of feature phones. With locally-manufactured JioPhones hitting the market in coming quarters, the vendor is expected to better its performance," Narinder Kumar, analyst at CMR-Industry Intelligence Group (IIG), said.
