Samsung has put out a teaser of the Galaxy Note 9 ahead of its launch on August 9. The teasers highlights three key areas of the much awaited phone — battery, storage and performance.

Samsung has posted three video teasers on its official YouTube page. The first video shows slow performance on a smartphone with common problems like a link not opening. As expected, Galaxy Note 9 will come with a powerful processor which will most likely be Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 845 or in-house Exynos 9810 SoC.

In the second video, Samsung teases the storage capability of Galaxy Note 9. The smartphone has been rumoured to offer storage options of 6GB RAM plus 128GB storage, and 8GB RAM plus 256GB storage. Some reports even suggest a 512GB model.

The third video teaser is titled, “Battery can’t keep up? A lot can change in a day.” The video shows a phone’s battery on a low level and dying pretty fast. While this highlights a big battery for the Galaxy Note 9, it could also mean optimisations for low battery modes.

The teaser does complement the rumoured 4,000mAh battery on the Galaxy Note 9. In comparison, its predecessor, Galaxy Note 8 packs a much smaller 3,300mAh battery.

Samsung is highly expected to retain the same design language as Galaxy Note 8. The only noticeable difference could be the fingerprint sensor placement below the camera lens.

The ‘Galaxy Unpacked’ event on August could see the launch of Fornite for Android. Samsung is said to have partnered with Epic Games for the debut of Fortnite on Android. The popular mobile game would be exclusive to Galaxy Note 9 for one month followed by a global launch later. As a launch offer, interested users are also reported to get V-Bucks worth $100 and $150 for in-game purchases.
