Vivo on Thursday will launch a new smartphone in India. Called Vivo V11 Pro, the smartphone will come with in-screen fingerprint sensor, a technology available on its premium Vivo Nex smartphone. The in-screen fingerprint sensor allows users to unlock the phone by just tapping on the screen and also paves way for phones with higher screen-to-body ratio.

Vivo will be launching the V11 Pro at an event in Mumbai. The company says brand ambassador Aamir Khan will also be present at the event. The company will be live streaming the event via its official Facebook page. You can also follow Vivo’s Twitter handle to catch up with the live updates.

Vivo 11 Pro: Specifications
Apart from in-screen fingerprint sensor, Vivo has already confirmed that the phone will sport a waterdrop notch on the front. This format of notch takes up very little space on the front and covers just the front camera module. OnePlus 6T is also said to come with this kind of notch display.

Based on teasers posted social networking platforms, Vivo V11 Pro will come with Dual Pixel technology for better photography, especially in low-light conditions. There will also be a “Halo FullView display.” For performance, it will run on Qualcomm’s 660 processor. It is also expected to come with fast charging capacity, dubbed as “Dual-Engine Fast Charging.”
