Xiaomi wouldn’t let OnePlus hog the limelight even for 24 hours. Shortly after OnePlus unveiled its new flagship OnePlus 7 series, Xiaomi trolled the company with what would be the new ‘Flagship Killer 2.0’.

Shared on Redmi India’s Twitter page, Xiaomi announced their upcoming smartphone ‘Redmi K20’ and teasing OnePlus at the same time. Xiaomi, trying to be witty congratulated OnePlus on their new flagship launch and also warned saying that the flagship killer 2.0 is coming soon.

Xiaomi’s tweet also highlights its new smartphone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset.

This teaser comes a day after Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing confirming Redmi K20 and Redmi K20 Pro smartphones. Xiaomi hasn’t revealed the launch date for its Redmi K20 series as yet. In India, Redmi K20 Pro could launch as Poco F2, the successor to last year’s flagship killer. Xiaomi India head, Manu Kumar Jain also confirmed another 48-megapixel camera smartphone will launch in India soon.

Previously known as Redmi X, Redmi K20 Pro is expected to feature a 6.39-inch AMOLED display with no notch. The smartphone could house an in-display fingerprint sensor and pop-up selfie camera. For photography, Redmi K20 Pro is said to house a triple-camera setup featuring a 48-megapixel sensor, ultra-wide angle lens and telephoto lens.

The pop-up selfie camera is expected to feature a 20-megapixel sensor. Powering the smartphone will be a 4,000mAh battery with support for 20W fast charging.

Based on the leaked specifications, Redmi K20 Pro would be competing not only with OnePlus 7 but Realme X as well.
