The road fell in due to a leak in the sewage pipeline embedded about 20 feet below the ground, an official of the Municipal Corporation of Gurugram (MCG), which is responsible for fixing sewerage, said.
Agitated villagers from Iqbalpur blocked the Gurugram-Badli Road after the accident. They demanded a speed breaker be built immediately to check mishaps. The protest resulted in a 3-km-long snarl.(HT Photo)
