The viral video purportedly showed the victim being tied to a tree in full public view by one of the accused Sanjay Pal, who is absconding. A mob gathered and some of the men were purportedly seen beating the victim with sticks and brutalising him.

The CM lashed out at the Samajwadi Party rule that he said was synonymous with lawlessness. He also said that the Bahujan Samaj Party was synonymous with corruption and dismissed the Congress as a party without any political space or standing in the state.

Caste violence erupts again in Dasna after groups clash at peace meet

The members of the two different castes have been at loggerheads since a road rage incident on August 24 in Ghaziabad. Some persons also took to social media where they allegedly posted inflammatory messages, videos and pictures against the other caste.
