U.P. Board orders replacing low quality CCTV cams/DVRs in exam centres by Feb 14

In an inspection, it was found that low quality and obsolete CCTV cameras/DVRs were installed in more than 500 examination centres, an official said. Sensing the intentions of the cheating mafia, board secretary Dibyakant Shukla has issued a warning to all the district school inspectors to ensure installation of good quality CCTV/DVR in such examination centres by February 14.

Gurugram: CCTV cams installed at all police stations, posts

The pilot project of installing CCTV cameras at all police stations, posts and crime probe units in Gurugram has been completed. The cameras will be linked to the control room next week. A total of 44 police stations, 22 posts, and 11 units of the crime investigation agency were equipped with cameras. The project, which cost ₹300 crore, aims to improve transparency and ensure the safety of both visitors and complainants, as well as monitor police operations and investigations. The cameras installed are of HD quality and will provide clear visibility even at night.
