O2 crisis persists across India, 3 states write to Centre on quota

Tamil Nadu asked the Centre to restore its quota. On May 1 and May 2, in a meeting with Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, it was agreed that the state will be re-allotted 476 MT of oxygen as opposed to 220 MT but Centre hasn’t issued orders yet.

Delhi: The six-day-long Covid-19 lockdown remains in effect from 10pm on Monday (April 19) till 5am on April 26 (next Monday). While the Delhi Metro and public buses have been allowed to ply with half the seating capacity, passenger limits for taxis, cabs, autos, and e-rickshaws have been fixed.
