South Delhi internal roads in bad shape

Most of these roads are maintained by the municipal corporations. Local councillors said that due to the nationwide lockdown to curb the spread of coronavirus, lack of funds and labour roads could not be re-carpeted and potholes repaired ahead of the monsoon.

130 unauthorised Delhi colonies unlikely to get piped water supply

DJB vice-chairman Dinesh Mohaniya said NOCs are not available for laying water pipelines in some unauthorised colonies, while it’s not feasible to undertake work in the rest.

Delhi HC allows tree cutting for construction, excludes seven south Delhi colonies

The high court said that if anyone was unhappy with any other construction work, they can challenge it in the National Green Tribunal.

Commercial spaces in Delhi colonies up for development will burden them, say experts

NBCC blamed for ‘serious irregularities’ in tree plantation at 3 Delhi colonies
