ASI-protected monuments and museums to reopen from June 16

Lockdown pollution higher in 2021 than last year: Study

  • The think tank said that the imposition of a partial lockdown (from April 6 to April 19) lowered PM2.5 levels by 20% in Delhi, while the complete lockdown (from April 20 onwards) brought the average pollution levels further down by 12%.

Delhi's latest Covid-19 positivity rate at 29%, says CM as lockdown extended

On April 22, positivity rate reached a record high of 36.24% in Delhi, as 26,169 out of 72,208 samples tested for Covid-19 in the preceding 24 hours, returned positive results. The positivity rate crossed 30% on April 20 and stayed above the mark.

Oxygen manufacturers, suppliers and hospitals will have to update regular data regarding the movement of oxygen so that the government can identify the bottlenecks, Kejriwal said.
