Light to moderate rain, thunderstorms forecast in Delhi and NCR

"Thunderstorm with light to moderate intensity rain would occur over and adjoining areas of many places of Delhi ( Punjabi Bagh, Rajauri Garden, Patel Nagar, Red fort, ITO, President House, India Gate, Delhi Cantt, Lodi Road, Safdarjung, R K Puram," IMD tweeted.

Delhi temperature summer woes Mercury likely to touch 38° Celsius by Monday: IMD

Temperatures in the national capital, which has seen a consistently warmer-than-usual March, are set to rise over the weekend and mercury is likely to touch 38 degrees Celsius by Monday, according to weather forecast by scientists at the India Meteorological Department (IMD)

Trace rainfall, gusty winds bring some respite from heat

Kuldeep Srivastava, head of IMD’s regional weather forecasting centre, said the city received trace rainfall and the day was largely cloudy with gusty winds.
