Panjab University to lift MAKA trophy after 13 years

This will be for 14th time that the university will lift this trophy, instituted by the Union ministry of education in 1956- 57 and awarded by the President on National Sports Day (August 29) every year.

GNDU gets Rs 107-crore central grant for campus revamp

Rs 8 crore will be spent on construction of new laboratories, Rs 7 crore on a lecture theatre, Rs 9.54 crore on installing LED lights across the campus, Rs 7.87 crore on the construction of washrooms, Rs 6.48 crore on furnishing classrooms, Rs 21 crore on upgrading existing laboratories and Rs 9 crore on providing equipment to students.
