The local unit of the South Korean carmaker will focus on providing mobility services rather than just selling cars, alongside offering digitally connected products to keep pace with changing needs.

Suzuki takes SUV battle to Hyundai

The new SUV would be sold under both Suzuki and Toyota brand names, the people said. It is likely to come equipped with a strong gasoline hybrid powertrain to help both companies qualify for the stricter second phase of corporate average fuel efficiency norms, they added.

Hyundai drives in Grand i10 Nios at Rs 4.99 lakh
