IIM Ahmedabad Endowment Fund appoints Chhavi Moodgal as CEO

Chhavi Moodgal, an alumna of Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad, has been named as the first CEO of the recently set up IIMA Endowment Fund.

It has been ranked 40th while IIM Bangalore (IIMB), too, features in the top 50 institutes in the rankings at the 44th position. IIMA was ranked 48th while the IIMB 71st in the rankings last year. Among Asian institutes, IIM Ahmedabad has been ranked sixth on the list.

Director of IIM Ahmedabad, Errol D’Souza, said the institute was waiting for the government to frame rules regarding the IIM Act before taking a call on whether to award degrees in management, and also on what to call these degrees.
