India vs South Africa Highlights, 3rd Test Day 2: That will be stumps on Day 2. The umpires have taken the bails off and the covers have come in. That will be it from Ranchi today. South Africa have reached 9 for 2 and trail India by 488 runs. But boy South Africa will be relieved. They were all at sea in front of some hostile fast bowling by Mohammed Shami and Umesh Yadav. They lost both their openers with only 8 on the board before the umpires told Virat Kohli to bring the spinners on.Earlier, Virat Kohli declared after India posted 497 runs on the board. Rohit Sharma and Ajinkya Rahane were the stars with the bat. Ravindra Jadeja chipped in with a solid 50 and Umesh swung his way to 31 quick runs and this is when the skipper called his players. The task will be cut out for South Africa.

India vs South Africa, 3rd Test, Day 1 As it happened:Opener Rohit Sharma hit his third century of the series to lead India’s charge after they lost early wickets against South Africa on day one of the third Test. Rohit, on 117, combined with Ajinkya Rahane, on 83, to put on an unbeaten 185-run stand after the hosts were wobbling at 39-3 following their decision to bat first in Ranchi. India reached 224 for three when bad light stopped play in the final session. It began to rain as well and no further action was possible. Rohit and Rahane ensured that India, who have already taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the three-match series, denied the opposition bowlers any wickets after lunch.

India vs Afghanistan, World Cup 2019 highlights: Shami’s last-over hat-trick fires India to 11-run win

Highlights: Mohammed Shami becomes the second Indian to take a World Cup hat-trick and in doing so, he has fired India to an 11-run victory. He scalped the wickets of Nabi, Alam and Mujeeb off successive deliveries and defended 16 runs off the last over. India remain unbeaten in the tournament. Earlier, Afghanistan bowlers restricted India to 224/8 in 50 overs. Mohammad Nabi and Gulbadin Naib scalped two wickets each. Virat Kohli and Kedar Jadhav slammed respective fifties but rest of the batsmen weren’t up to the mark.
