S Jaishankar discusses evolving situation in Gulf, progress of Chabahar port with Iranian counterpart

Javad Zarif apprised S Jaishankar about the overall situation and Tehran’s position on it. It is learnt that the two ministers also deliberated on bilateral ties between India and Iran including progress of the Chabahar port project.

Iran says remark on Chabahar port misquoted, tells India it is flexible on oil supply

The statement came a a day after Iran’s charge d’affaires Massoud Rezvanian Rahaghi was quoted as saying that India had not fulfilled its promise of making investments in Chabahar port.
