Gold prices edge up today, silver rises too

October gold futures rose 0.1% to Rs 51,504 per 10 gram on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX) as it extended gains to the second day on Monday.

Prices of the yellow metal have gone down in four days at around Rs 1,700 per 10 gram. Gold had dropped 0.3% while September silver futures declined 1% in the previous session.
