Indian Oil’s LPG refill cylinder booking just a missed call away

“Booking refills through missed calls is a faster way to book with customers not having to hold calls for a long time,” the IOC statement said, adding that no call charges will be levied as compared to Interactive voice response (IVR) where normal call rates are applicable. This service will be extremely helpful to those who are not well-versed with IVR calls, senior citizens and those living in rural areas, a statement issued by the IOC said.

Oil companies raise fuel prices

Retail prices of petrol and diesel were first raised by 60 paise a litre each on Sunday followed by similar hikes on Monday. Petrol is now sold in Delhi at Rs 72.46 per litre and diesel at Rs 70.59 a litre, according to the Indian Oil Corporation (IOC).

ABB Power Grids bags Rs 162 cr project for IOC refinery in Bihar

India is expected to host the annual summit between the two countries in October. The recent agreement on the import of oil from Russia via Novorossiysk port was signed during a visit to India by Rosneft CEO Igor Sechin. Air India is in the grip of a major financial crunch and on August 22, Indian Oil Corporation stopped fuel supply to the airline at Ranchi, Mohali, Patna, Vizag, Pune and Cochin airports, owing to nonpayment of dues.
