Lieutenant commanders Vartika Joshi and Prathibha Jamwal, and lieutenants Swathi Patarpalli, Aishwarya Boddapati, Vijaya Devi and Payal Gupta spent over eight months at sea, sailing around the world in six legs on INSV Tarini.

Indian Navy’s all-women crew circumnavigate the globe on INSV Tarini in 8 months

The all-women crew completed the expedition in the 55-foot sailing vessel, INSV Tarini, which was inducted into the Indian Navy on February 18 last year.
