This is the third time the deadline has been extended as taxpayers are facing challenges owing to Covid-19 pandemic.

According to rules, those who earn Rs 250,000 or more annually are mandatorily required to file ITRs. The limit for senior citizens or those between 60 years and 80 years of age is Rs 500,000.

This is the fourth time that the date has been revised amid the Covid-19 pandemic. It was first revised till June 30, then July 31, then September 30 and now till November 30.
