Jamal Khashoggi: US District Judge John Bates suggested he was reluctant to throw out the lawsuit but had no choice given the Biden administration's decision.
Khashoggi was killed by Saudi agents in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul in an operation which U.S. intelligence believed was ordered by Prince Mohammed, who has been the kingdom's de facto ruler for several years.
In remarks on Friday night, Biden called Saudi dissident Khashoggi’s death “outrageous” and said he had warned prince Mohammed Bin Salman against further attacks on dissidents, without specifying what actions he might take.
