Coach of Howrah-bound Kalka Mail catches fire, six hospitalised

A fire broke out early on Tuesday in a coach of the Howrah-bound Kalka Mail near Kurukshetra in Haryana, an official said. Six passengers were hospitalised.

The kidnappers then called up Dushyant’s father and demanded Rs 2 crore as ransom, officials said, adding that the family then approached police. However, the family of the victim managed to bring the ransom amount down to Rs 3 lakh.
