Krishnakumar Kunnath, popularly known as KK was born in Delhi was a playback singer. He rose to fame with the song Tadap Tadap Ke from the 1999 film Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam.The singer's first Bollywood song was Chhod Aye Hum from the film Maachis. The same year, he also released his successful album Pal. However, KK’s tryst with music began in Delhi’s Kirori Mal College, where he was the lead singer for the college band Horizon. KK was known for his energetic stage performances. He died on May 31,2022 due to a heart attack while he was performing in Kolkata.
