Shanghai nears end of lockdown, China’s Covid-19 angst grows

Officials in China's financial hub, Shanghai, said Friday they’re seeking to stop community spread of the coronavirus by May 20, a sign they may finally dismantle the gruelling travel restrictions that have upended lives and disrupted everything from banking to car manufacturing.
