The verdict came four days before the Financial Action Task Force’s (FATF) plenary meeting in Paris to assess action taken by Pakistan to counter terror financing and money laundering. Saeed, who was detained last July, can appeal against the ruling in higher courts.

Outgoing FATF chief hints at ‘blacklisting’ Pakistan over terror

Delhi government to come up with flood, heatwave action plan

On Friday, the Union environment ministry informed the National Green Tribunal that the Delhi government has been advised to incorporate a heatwave action plan in its SAPCC. In 2013, Ahmedabad was one of the first Indian cities to have come up with such a plan.
