Mizoram election result 2018: Chief Electoral Officer Ashish Kundra said that counting was taking place at 40 counting halls in 13 centres across the mountainous state. The polls were held on November 28.

In a first, all Mizoram polling booths to be covered by wireless technology

Mizoram Police is being assisted in its poll-related activities by 40 companies of central armed police forces (CAPF), comprising personnel from BSF, SSB, CRPF and Assam Police.
