NCERT books of English and Hindi medium will be introduced in Classes 6 to 8 from the next academic session. A new book of the NCERT, ‘Hamara Rajasthan’, will be introduced in three parts from Classes 6 to 8 to educate students about the Rajasthan’s geography, history and culture

“The school shall put a list of prescribed books on its website with the written declaration duly signed by the manager and the principal to the effect that they have gone through the contents of the books prescribed by the school, and own the responsibility,” a section of the bylaw reads.

A total of 3,500 schools affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) had registered with the NCERT and all have received the textbooks, which were recently updated for the new academic session.

Class 12 NCERT book drops ‘anti-Muslim’ from 2002 Gujarat riots
