700 nursing, paramedic staff of North Delhi Municipal Corporation threaten strike from Monday

Doctors of hospitals under north corporation had launched a similar strike on October 5 to demand clearing of their outstanding salary dues. The strike finally was called off on October 28 after the north corporation cleared the salary of doctors till September 2020 on October 28.

Till August 14, the South and North Delhi municipal corporations jointly increased their tax collection by Rs 119.33 crore and added over 56,000 new tax payers to their records. The SDMC now has 20,000 new taxpayers and is aiming to increase the number by two lakh.
