Mumbai: Harbour line services affected,commuters may face delay during peak hours

Mumbai harbour line: This is because an engine of goods train failed at Kurla railway station on the harbour railway platform. The failure occurred at 2.45 pm and was rectified and engine was removed at 3.15 pm.

Residents brace for traffic jams as work on Sohna elevated road starts

Authorities on Sunday blocked off one lane each of the three-lane carriageways by installing barricades, between Central Park-2 and JMD Megapolis to facilitate the construction of a flyover at the stretch.

At the Balaknath intersection, two U-turns have been created to streamline traffic and reduce driving on the wrong side, especially for those vehicles that come from the Sector 71 intersection and take right to drive on the wrong side to enter Sarfabad village, blocking traffic.

Let intercepted vehicles wait at octroi booths, say traffic police

The traffic police officers said the idea of restricting heavy vehicles was to provide more space for other vehicles to pass. But making them wait on the road, defeats the purpose of the ban.
