‘No water’ plaints up by 151% in 3 years in Delhi: Report

The report was released by NGO Praja Foundation Thursday at a press conference in Delhi. The Mumbai-based non-partisan, voluntary organisation annually brings out a report on the state of civic amenities in the city.

Uncle abuses 10-year-old in Pune, family seeks to hush plaint

Hailing from Osmanabad, the 28-year-old was in Pune to visit his sister's husband who underwent a medical procedure, according to the police. While the child's mother is a housewife, his father is a painter.

Sinhgad Institutes’ crisis: Teachers to file plaint in HC against illegal firing of staff

The last teacher to be fired, a staffer from Sinhgad College of Pharmacy, Vadgaon, was on medical leave due to her pregnancy when she received the letter of discontinuation from the institute. Most of the teachers complained that they were illegally fired stating wrong tenure completion dates. 

The teachers are still waiting for the dispersal of <span class='webrupee'>₹</span>171 crores submitted by the social welfare department to the court.(HT PHOTO)
