Pondicherry University postpones all practical and theory exams

The Pondicherry Central University announced on Friday that all the practical and theory examinations due from April 19 in colleges affiliated to the university have been postponed until further orders.

HRD ministry will verify the authenticity of the videos in which a Central University vice chancellor is seen accepting cash and making objectionable remarks before taking action.

Third year MBBS student of a private college in Puducherry had filed a petition seeking grace marks to enable her to clear the ophthalmology paper.
The UGC’s draft rules for students states that in non-core areas, plagiarism of up to 10% would not invite any penalty while that of between 10% and 40% would mean the students will have to submit a revised research paper within six months.(THINKSTOCK)
