Property fraud still a major issue in Gurugram

Police records show that the number of cases has been consistently increasing since 2010, when the department registered 130 cases. This year, the police have registered 514 such cases.

According to the police, the complainant, a resident of Surya Vihar near Sector 4 said he knew the suspect for over a decade and was approached by him to purchase a 60-square-yard plot in Khandsa village.
