As many as 47.18 lakh candidates appeared in the direct railway recruitment exams which were held in 13 regional languages, the government informed the Lok Sabha on Wednesday.

A day after announcing special trains for its computer-based exam, the railways said on Wednesday that two more trains would run between Bihar’s Muzaffarpur city and Secunderabad in Telangana.
