The outlook for 2021 is worrying. According to IMD’s Monsoon Mission Coupled Forecasting System , the forecast suggests above-normal seasonal maximum and minimum temperatures are likely over most of India

Easterly winds bring relief from heatwave in Gurugram

The heatwave conditions have subsided for now; easterly winds bringing moisture have resulted in high humidity levels, an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) on Monday.
