Daily footfall to Sabarimala restricted to 90,000

CM had convened a meeting in view of the Sunday’s Kerala HC directive amid mounting complaints of pilgrims who were forced to stand more than eight to 10 hours in queues. The high court had also directed the temple board and Pathnamthitta district collector to suggest ways to control the rush.

Sabarimala board issues clarification on ‘halal’ markings after row

The Travancore Dewasom Board (TDB) filed the reply after a devotee moved the HC on Wednesday questioning ‘halal’ specifications on jaggery packets.

Kerala’s Sabarimala temple to reopen today for monthly pooja

Devotees who were unable to visit the shrine in October due to the flood situation and had booked their slot, are also being permitted entry.

Those who are not yet vaccinated or have been partially vaccinated will be asked to show a negative RT-PCR report for the Covid-19 test.
