A Mughal-era sarai, contested history and murmurs of a curse

A small detour from the main road between Naurangpur and Tauru road leads to a nondescript village called Sarai, which derives its name from a Mughal-era resthouse or sarai; its antiquity can be traced back through an inscription on the gateway.
